Have you seen these Turkey Treats?
Ya’ll they are so cute and super simple to make!
I included a Turkey Treat kit in the Thanksgiving Edition of my Thoughtful Tradition box because I loved them so much!
These are a great after school snack, they would be a fun activity during Thanksgiving break, perfect to put in your treat bag for a neighbor or you could use these to occupy your kids while you are in the kitchen prepping for the Thanksgiving meal.
Here is the recipe and directions for how to make a Turkey Treat Pop:
Double Stuffed Oreos
Edible Candy Eyes
Peanut Butter or Icing
Take the candy corn and carefully push them inside the cookie to make the feathers. You may want to open the cookie and add a dollop of peanut butter or icing to help hold the candy corn in place. Use a small dollop of peanut butter or icing to add the candy eyes. Cut the yellow top off of the candy corn and place with a dollop of peanut butter or icing for a nose. Carefully push the lollipop stick in the oreo and tie a ribbon on it for a special detail. That’s it! Now you have a super easy yummy treat.
All of these items are included in the Thanksgiving edition of my Thoughtful Tradition boxes. If you haven’t ordered yours yet, we still have a few left. There are a lot of other fun and easy activities that would be great to do with your family while kids and grandkids are out of school the week of Thanksgiving. Use code “grateful” for $5.00 off.
