I have had such a special week with with lots of family in town for Thanksgiving!
Our week has been filled with cousin craziness, story telling, laughter and we are looking forward to a lot of really great meals in the next few days!
Before I change into my fat pants (yes the stretchy kind that help me not feel guilty for eating that 3rd piece of pie) I thought I would share a few things that I am most thankful for.
Adoption. In August I became a mom through adoption. It has been the most incredible experience of my life. I have dreamed of being a mom my entire life and having our new little guy makes me feel truly complete. There has been tremendous joy along with few challenges but I am grateful for both and loving being a mom to the most adorable little boy.
Family. Every year at Thanksgiving I take a photo of everyone who came and put it in our Thanksgiving scrapbook. I am so excited to take our annual Thanksgiving photo this year as it will be our first Thanksgiving as a family of three! So much of the work that I do at Bridalpreneur is to be able to provide for and spend more time with my family as well as encourage other women to do the same by designing a life and business they love.
I have so much support from my family and feel truly lucky. My wonderful husband who may not always understand my crazy ideas or the passion I have for my work but loves me unconditionally and supports me every day. My parents who instilled in me the pursuit of excellence and the art of hard work. My dad who inspires me as an entrepreneur and who has shown me how to have the biggest heart and a true love for people. My mom who has always made me feel special and has shown me how to do the same for others. She is the reason I have always wanted to be a mother and a I hope to only be half as amazing as she is. Family takes a deeper meaning this holiday season and I could spend all day writing about each person that impacts my life. To each of you that I did not get to go in detail, I love you and thank you.
Social Media. This may be a strange one but I love being able to stay connected to so many amazing people all over the world. Whether it be family that I only get to see once a year or Bridalpreneur clients in a different state, I love getting to share your life with you even if its only for a few moments through social media each day. A special thank you to all of you who read my blog, share my facebook posts and like my instagram photos. I am truly grateful for the love and support you give to me. Thank you.
Clients. I would not be able to live this incredible life with out each one of my clients. From the couples I am honored to share in their wedding day to the amazing women I have the privilege of coaching, and the thoughtful brands that trust me with their products, I am truly grateful.
There are truly so many things to be grateful for. I wish for you and your family a very Happy Thanksgiving. May your next few days be filled with rest, quality time with family and delicious food.
PS. I would also like to say special thank you to Chickfila, Mcdonalds and Lego Land for helping this new mom be able to sneak in a few hours of work while my little guy is entertained. Most of my emails and writing this blog is possible because of you.
